Der Schwerpunkt bei der neuesten Version von HP&#8217;s Backup&#038;Recovery Software liegt auf Skalierbarkeit. Mehrere tausend Clients k\u00f6nnen nun mit Data Protector verwaltet werden, 1000 Sicherungen gleichzeitig durchgef\u00fchrt werden, 100000 Sicherungen t\u00e4glich ausgef\u00fchrt werden &#8211; in einer einzigen Zelle. In einer Manager-of-Manager Umgebung lassen sich bis zu 50000 Clients und 2,5 Milliarden Medien verwalten. Damit und mit weiteren Highlights in der neuen Software skaliert Data Protector 100 mal besser (und mehr) verglichen mit dem Mitbewerb. Nat\u00fcrlich sind auch erfolgreich etablierte Technologien, wie federated deduplication (StoreOnce) und neue Funktionen im Produkt enthalten.
