Zus\u00e4tzlich werden nun die Sprachen franz\u00f6sisch, japanisch und chinesisch f\u00fcr die Data Protector Versionen DP 8.0, 8.01 und 8.10 unterst\u00fctzt.<\/p>\n<p>Eine Liste der freien Laufwerke im Data Protector zu erhalten kann in gr\u00f6\u00dferen Umgebungen eine Herausforderung bedeuten. Zwar bietet der Befehl <code>omnidbutil -show_locked_devs -all<\/code> eine M\u00f6glichkeit die aktuell belegten Laufwerke (Medien, usw.) zu erhalten und \u00fcber den Befehl <code>omnidownload -list_devices -detail<\/code> kann man eine Auflistung aller im Data Protector konfigurierten Laufwerke erhalten. Jedoch muss man selbst pr\u00fcfen, welches Laufwerk nun noch verwendbar ist.<\/p>\n<p>Mit dem Programm <code>omnilistfreedevs<\/code> wird die Anzeige der freien Laufwerke nun m\u00f6glich. Das Programm bietet verschiedene Optionen an, so ist es beispielsweise m\u00f6glich nur die SCSI Laufwerke anzuzeigen, oder das Auflisten aller Laufwerke von Filelibraries zu unterbinden. \u00dcber einen Suchstring kann die Auflistung der freien Laufwerke individuell angepasst werden. F\u00fcr eine weitere Automatisierung in eigenen Skripten wird nur eine Liste der freien Laufwerke erzeugt.<\/p>\n<p>Das Skript muss auf dem Cell Server laufen und steht f\u00fcr Windows und Linux zur Verf\u00fcgung. Die Version f\u00fcr HP-UX folgt in K\u00fcrze.
