Data Protector 9 – Patch Bundle 9.01

On 2014/07/30 HP released the patch bundle 9.01 for Linux, HP-UX and Windows. The patch bundle includes new features: copy of virtual machines to HP public cloud (using a new backup to disk device type) and the integration of NetApp SnapManager for VMware. The patch bundle does not include any other fixes or site specific patches. It is strongly recommended to read the full description of the bundle.

If you own a valid support contract you can download the patches from http://support.openview.hp.com/selfsolve/patches. Access requires the HP Passport account.

    gibt es zur SMVI Integration weitere Informationen?
    Bei HP finde ich leider (noch) nichts.

    • Hi,

      you can uninstall the complete DP packages (assuming it’s not the cell server) and install the 9.00 version only by mounting the ISO.
